The Real Deal by Lifers Group is a powerful hip-hop album that tackles important social issues with raw, unflinching honesty. From the opening track, "Intro," the group sets a tone of urgency and authenticity that carries through the entire record. The lyrics are deeply personal and politically charged, addressing topics like racism, poverty, and incarceration with a fierce passion.

One standout track is "Belly Of The Beast," which explores the experience of being locked up in prison and the psychological toll it takes on inmates. The group's use of live instruments and soulful vocal samples creates a haunting atmosphere that perfectly captures the bleakness of the subject matter.

Another highlight is "Real Deal (Holyfield)," a tribute to the legendary boxer that uses his story as a metaphor for overcoming adversity. The track features an infectious beat and catchy chorus that make it one of the most accessible songs on the album.

Ok so about 38 seconds in there is a sample of what sounds like a chipmunk saying you need to go out and buy this record. I’ve looked online and it tells me that it’s junie Morrison granny’s funky rolls Royce but I’ve definitely heard it sampled on another track from the 90s... can anyone help me out and help me remember which track this was as its now giving me an ear worm! Thanks so much!

Anyone know where that crazy sounding guitar outro at 7:34 is from? Went through a fuck ton of samples on Whosampled, couldn't find it.
I've officially checked every sample Whosampled has for this track...they don't have it.
