Seems like literally half the songs from the 80s, in terms of chords and song structure, sounded like something off a Huey Lewis album. Don't get me wrong, Huey Lewis and the News were awesome. But I can understand why Nirvana got so big - after a decade, people got tired of either this stuff on pop radio or on rock stations just constant insane shredding purely for the sake of shredding.
